PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker with an operation part, in which dispersion of sensitivity caused by dispersion of the distance between a first electrode 3 arranged on the reverse side of a top plate 2 and a metal part of a main body outer hull 9 by the assembling work thereof or warping of members in equipment having the outer hull formed by use of a conductive material such as a metal. SOLUTION: This cooker comprises a main body constituting the outer hull by partially or entirely using the conductive material, a top plate provided on the upper surface of the main body, a first electrode provided on the reverse side of an electric insulating material constituting the top plate, a second electrode on the main body side of the first electrode with a predetermined space, a high-frequency voltage output part, and a voltage detection part. The first electrode is connected to the high-frequency voltage output part and the voltage detection part, and the second electrode is connected to the conductive material of the main body, whereby even if the conductive material of the main body outer part and the first electrode are arranged with an unstable distance, a high frequency signal supplied from the high-frequency voltage output part to the first electrode can be stably detected by the voltage detection part.
