PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl benzyl ether-based compound excellent in high frequency dielectric characteristics, heat resistance and flexibility and also exhibiting a sufficient level of bending strength in its B-stage state or in its cured material. SOLUTION: This vinyl benzyl ether-based copolymer is equipped with a first skeleton derived from a polymer having the vinyl benzyl ether structure and a second skeleton derived from a polymer of a diolefin-based monomer or its hydrogenated material.
