Catalyst for epoxide resins, which is liquid at room temp. and can be easily mixed with the resin, the mixture remaining liquid for at least 160 hr. has the catalyst activity controllable by adjusting the catalyst composn. with curing readily carried out by heating, is obtained by mixing BF3 with at least two of the following amines in equimolar proportions: N-methylcyclohexylamine, 3-n-butoxy-propylamine-(1) and/or 3- (2'-ethyl)-hexyloxy -propylamine-(1). Such resin-catalyst mixtures are particularly suitable for insulating applications. |
