Installation of pit type for utilization of solid domestic and industrial wastes by the method of dry pyrolytic decomposition has lined chamber, metal reactor placed in it, appliance for heat carrier supply to the chamber and its burning, loading tank with mechanism for forced movement of waste, heat exchanger to cool the products of pyrolytic decomposition, heat exchanger for air supplied to the burning zone by nozzles heating, heat exchange gap, this is formed by the wall of the reactor and heat exchanger for heating reactor and air, verticalchannel placed in the center of the bottom of the reactor, this forms hydro-slide for melt of solid residue flow out. At that the heat exchanger for products of pyrolytic decomposition cooling is placed between the reactor and the heat exchanger for air heating, at that at outlet from the reactor heat exchanger for products of pyrolytic decomposition cooling is connected to mixer of the products of pyrolytic decomposition with atmospheric air, and the heat exchanger for products of pyrolitic decomposition discharge is placed in the reactor.
