METHOD FOR PRODUCING ELECTRODE FOR ELECTRIC DOUBLE LAYER CAPACITOR

A method for producing an electrode for electric double layer capacitors is disclosed which comprises a step wherein a particulate elastomer and a carbonaceous material are mixed in a powder state, thereby obtaining a powder mixture and another step wherein an electrode layer is formed by dry-forming the thus-obtained powder mixture. With this method, an electrode which enables to form a high-capacity electric double layer capacitor can be produced by a simplified process with high productivity.
