PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of frequency regulating a piezo-oscillator and to provide a small piezo-oscillator with a high precision. SOLUTION: The piezo-oscillator 10 includes a piezo-electric oscillating piece 12, and an IC chip 14 which oscillates the piezo-electric oscillating piece 12 with a larger flat surface size than the piezo-electric oscillating piece 12. The piezo-electric oscillating piece 12 is mounted in the bottom of a package 16 oppositely to the hole provided in the bottom of the package 16 by making into an object for frequency regulations, and hermetic seals driven electrode 34 provided in the piezo-electric oscillating piece 12.
