PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-treatment device capable of enhancing sheet piling up property onto a standby tray. SOLUTION: The standby tray is provided on the midway of a conveying passage and the sheet is waiting when post treatment is required. A treatment tray receives the sheet fed from the standby tray and the sheet fed from the conveying passage not through the standby tray before post-treating them. A conveying mechanism for moving the sheet waiting on the standby tray to the treatment tray by own weight dropping off of the sheet is provided. Alignment in a lateral direction and a vertical direction of the sheet on the treatment tray is performed by an alignment mechanism. The post-treated bundle of the sheets is piled up on a paper delivery tray by the conveying mechanism. A level difference is provided between an entrance roller constituting a plurality of rollers and a paper feeding roller positioned in an upstream of the standby tray. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
