PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope apparatus which reduces an EMI level fully without using an EMI-prevention component and the shield of an enclosure which cause cost rise. SOLUTION: The electronic endoscope apparatus is equipped with a CCD 22 which images a subject, a CCD driver 23 which actuates the CCD 22, a basic clock oscillator 24 which generates a basic clock, a spectrum spreading clock generator SSCG 1 which spreads a spectrum for the basic clock from the basic clock oscillator 24, a SSG 25 which generates various synchronized signals from the basic clock spectrum-spread by the SSCG 1, and an S/H 27 which samples and holds the output of the CCD 22.
