PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bed part from being inclined to be a state in which a head side is lowered without deteriorating easiness in conveying a stretcher to an emergency vehicle or the like. SOLUTION: The stretcher comprises the bed part 21 for a sick and wounded person to lie on it; front legs 24 freely foldably provided at the front and rear sides of the bed part 21; rear legs 25 freely foldably provided at the rear side of the bed part 21; and pneumatic cylinders 8, 9 for generating force to elevate the bed part 21. The stretcher 1 includes a linking mechanism for making the front legs 24 associate with the rear legs 25 when the bed part 21 is elevated and not associate with the rear legs 25 when the bed part 21 is conveyed into a prescribed place.
