The invention relates to a golf hole which is designed for a golf ball and which is characterised in that it comprises a cavity (4) with a minimum depth, approximately between 0.4 mm and 2 cm in diameter, which is provided in a support base. The inventive hole is provided with a concentric peripheral guard (5) which comprises a front opening for the passage of the ball and which separates the hole from the rest of the surface of the platform (7) in which it is disposed. According to the invention, part of the periphery of the flat or reduced-height geometric platform is provided with a vertical guard (8), while the other part is equipped with a front relief (6) in order to define same. Moreover, the upper face of the platform comprises radius lines (10) and reliefs such as to divide the platform into different zones. The front edge of the periphery of the platform is equipped with a longitudinal segment or track (3) comprising a central channel (2) and a relief edge (1) which defines the play area. In addition, the invention comprises a support (9) for a flag indicator.
