PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk unit of a slot-in system, with which the fragments of a damaged disk will not scatter to the outside of the disk unit from a loading slot of the disk, even if the disk is damaged during rotation. SOLUTION: The disk unit 1 of the slot-in system is equipped with a door 11 prepared so as to open and close the loading-slot of the disk 20, and a door opening and closing section which opens and closes the door 11.
