PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a circuit section for generating a grayscale voltage of a driving circuit for a liquid crystal display is an obstacle to cost reduction and power consumption. SOLUTION: A grayscale generation circuit for generating a plurality of voltages to display a grayscale, which is provided in the driving circuit for the TFT liquid crystal display, comprises; a grayscale voltage generation section for generating the plurality of grayscale voltages to display the grayscale in a pixel of the liquid crystal display section; a transistor group of a source follower connection, for performing impedance conversion of each grayscale voltages; and an analog switch section for selecting outputs of each transistor group and applying them to a pixel group of the TFT liquid crystal display. Furthermore, in each transistor of the transistor group of the source follower connection, a current control circuit is provided and a current flowing to the current control circuit is set larger in a selection period than in most part of a non-selection period.
