PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of surely carrying a reversely carried sheet. SOLUTION: This image forming device can record an image on the double sides of the sheet; and has a double-sided flapper 13 rockable for branching off the sheet into a first passage for carrying the sheet to a sheet delivery part 16 and a second passage for carrying the sheet to a pair of reversal rollers 14 for reversely carrying the sheet for recording the double sides, and a sheet press-down member 28 rockable for pressing down one side surface of the sheet carried to the first passage or the second passage; and is characterized by having an area of overlapping a rocking area of the double-sided flapper 13 with a rocking area of the sheet press-down member 28.
