PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nailing machine for driving a nail by explosively burning the mixture of a combustible gas and air in a combustion chamber, which nailing machine can carry out stable ignition by preventing miss-fire phenomena of sparks. SOLUTION: The combustion type nailing machine comprises a combustion type nailing tool body which strikes a connecting tool by means of a driver blade 10a integrally formed with a piston 10 by driving the piston 10, which is movably supported in a cylinder 4, by burning the mixture of the fuel injected into a combustion chamber 15a provided above the cylinder 4 and the air in the combustion chamber by the spark of an ignition plug 9 caused by operating a trigger switch 12, and an ignition control device 24 for successively generating the sparks of the ignition plug 9 for a plurality of times when the trigger switch 12 has been operated.
