<p>Lysozyme prepns. having improved activity against bacteria and viruses contain (a) lysozyme and/or at least one of its pharmacologically tolerable salts; (b) hydrogen peroxide, and (c) citric, tartaric and/or ascorbic acid and/or an Na, K, Li, ammonium and/or triethylammonium salt of one or more of these, or cysteine. The prepns., which are quite stable, may be mixed with further ingredients to give formulations such as toothpastes, tooth powders, pastilles, eyewashes, nasal sprays, ointments, creams, lotions, baby foods, etc.</p> |
