<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for recognizing a passenger which has a high temperature estimation precision to load sensors, and the number of built-in temperature sensors is small. <P>SOLUTION: The passenger recognition system 1 characteristically comprises: the temperature sensor 30 capable of detecting temperature information of a plurality of time points; the plurality of load sensors 20FR, 20FL, 20RR and 20RL capable of detecting load information of seats; and the temperature estimation part 31 for estimating each temperature of the load sensors 20FR, 20FL, 20RR and 20RL based on the temperature information detected by the single temperature sensor 30 and the relative temperature information of at least two load sensors among 20FR, 20FL, 20RR and 20RL to the temperature sensor 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
