PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device capable of reducing the frequency of accessing a memory and suppressing a power consumption with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: Display data to be displayed on a LCD module 14 is stored in an external memory 13, and a CPU 12 sets a start address of the external memory 13 of display data and stores the set start address, and an interrupt generation part 113 detects that the stored start address is not changed for a prescribed period or longer, and a clock signal generation part 114 reduces a frequency of a clock signal for transferring the display data from the external memory 13 to the LCD module 14 in response to detecting that the start address is not changed for the prescribed period or longer.
