PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a curable resin composition that provides a low refractive index cured material for a planarization layer of a solid-state imaging element and has excellent coating properties by a spin coating method and a solid-state imaging element using the same to prevent flare. SOLUTION: The curable resin composition for a planarization layer comprises a fluorine-containing olefin-based polymer containing 10 mol%-50 mol% of a structural unit derived from a hydroxy group-containing monomer and a solvent.
