<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transaction system that ensures the security of transactions. <P>SOLUTION: In the transaction system having an online terminal 1 that determines propriety of a transaction by performing individual identification that comprises collating a customer's biological information read by a biological information capturing part with the customer's biological information obtained from a biological information database, if the identification comprising collating the customer's biological information read by the biological information capturing part of the online terminal 1 with the customer's biological information obtained from the biological information database 5 results in the failure to identify the customer, it is determined whether or not to permit the transaction through identification that comprises reading using the biological information capturing part the biological information of an employee or the like who verified the customer, and collating this biological information with an authorized person's biological information obtained from the biological information database 5.
