PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire fighting helmet easily attaching and detaching a protection face to and from a cap body, stably and smoothly operating the protection face upward and downward, certainly holding the protection face in using and housing the same, having a small amount of members and production steps and reducing production cost. SOLUTION: The fire fighting helmet is constituted by forming a long guide hole 4 in vertical directions on the front center, a pair of ribs 8 protruding on the rear face along the lateral vicinity of the long hole and guide rails 5 on lateral surfaces on a bracket board 2, and attaching a long-sized engaging member 6 on the rear face of the upper edge center of a protection face 3 to be rotative by installing a height in the axis direction by an axis member 9, forming concave sections slidingly engaging with the ribs on the front face of both free ends of the engaging member, installing sliders 7 sliding to the guide rails on the rear faces of both sides of the upper end, engaging the concave sections to the ribs by inserting the engaging member into the long guide hole and subsequently turning the same 90°and engaging both sliders to the guide rails.
