<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sock with an air-permeable multistage pile structure the thickness and strength of which are varied in units of stitches so as to be applicable to purpose of the sock and performance in season's requirement or conform to the load distribution to the sole and the degree of shock charged on each part of the sole when a wearer walks or runs. <P>SOLUTION: The sock with a multistage pile structure is formed so that various kinds of knitting structures having different thickness and porosity respectively, such as plain knit P, short pile SP, long pile LP, mesh M, meshed short pile M-SP, meshed long pile M-LP, meshed reinforced short pile M-R-SP, meshed reinforced long pile M-R-LP, reinforced short pile R-SP and reinforced long pile R-LP, are distributed to respective parts of the sock. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
