<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless unit which is excellent in maintenance workability for reducing the power consumption of a battery power source, and for prolonging the life of the battery power source and a monitoring system for a steel facility. <P>SOLUTION: This slave unit(wireless unit) quipped with a battery power source 35, and connected to a displacement sensor(monitoring means) 151 is provided with a PIC(processing means) 32 for applying predetermined data processing to the detection signal(monitor result) of the displacement sensor 151, a transmission/reception module(transmitting/receiving means) 34 for receiving an instruction signal from a master unit, and for transmitting the monitor result processed by the PIC 32 and a timer circuit(switching means) 37 for switching at least the PIC 32 among the PIC 32 and the transmission/reception module 34 between an on state or a stand-by state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
