PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire resistant member easy in construction, while simultaneously imparting fireproofness/fire resistance and waterproofness to a joint part. SOLUTION: This fire resistant member is composed of a laminated body of laminating a pressure sensitive adhesive layer 5c on the other surface by laminating a shock absorbing material layer 5a on one surface of a thermally expansive fire resistant material layer 5b. A coefficient of cubic expansion after heating the thermally expansive heat resistant material layer 5b for 30 minutes under a heating condition of 50 kW/m<SP>2</SP>, is set 3 to 100 times.
