PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece positioning support apparatus which has simple constitution and in which a positioning means can easily be changed in accordance with the type of workpieces. SOLUTION: Utilizing a welding gun 10 in a welding robot 1, the positioning means 31 in a workpiece positioning support apparatus 30 are selectively changed. Concretely, the welding gun 10 in the welding robot 1 is engaged with an engagement part 46, the welding gun 10 is rotated, the gun engagement part 46 is rotated, and a rotary board 32 is rotated integrally with the gun engagement part 46. Then, the positioning means 31 corresponding to a workpiece W is selected from the plurality of positioning means 31 radially projecting from the rotary board 32, and is arranged at a position projecting upward from the rotary board 32.
