PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a static electric therapy apparatus capable of keeping the ratio of a positive peak value to a negative one fixed, for example, 1:3, even when applying to the different number of people to be treated in different loading forms on a living body, creating a high-voltage AC electric field around the human body, and outputting high-voltage alternating current for biological electric potential therapy. SOLUTION: In this static electric therapy apparatus, one end of a secondary coil of a high-voltage transformer T is connected to one end of a parallel circuit consisting of a condenser C1 and a resistance R2, while the other end of the parallel circuit is connected to a series circuit of a resistance R3 and a diode D1. The other end of the series circuit is terminated at the other end of the secondary coil of the high-voltage transformer T. Between the intersection point of the parallel circuit including the condenser C1 and the resistance R2, and the series circuit including the resistance R3 and the diode D, and the intersection point of the series circuit and the high-voltage transformer T, a high-voltage alternating current keeping the ratio of the positive peak value to the negative one, and the effective value fixed, for example 1:3, is outputted.
