PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance assist tool capable of smoothly conveying a heavy machine device with casters without damaging a floor surface material in the case of conveying the heavy machine device with casters into a place where a thick carpet is laid. SOLUTION: This conveyance assist tool 20 to be used to convey a copying machine 1 with casters 121 is provided with a plane surface-contact part 30, a loading part 40 to be loaded with the casters 121, and an engagement part 50 to be engaged with the casters 121 to enable driven movement of the conveyance assist tool 20 when moving the copying machine 1 with the casters 121. When such a conveyance assist tool 20 is installed in the caster 121 to move the copying machine 1, since the contact-surface part 30 of the conveyance assist tool 20 is slid for travelling on the carpet as a sliding surface, and the copying machine 1 can be smoothly conveyed to a desired position.
