<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser irradiation arc welding method by which a welding torch is prevented from being irradiated with a reflected light from a material to be welded. <P>SOLUTION: The laser irradiation arc welding method is provided for performing gas shielded arc welding by irradiating the welding place of the material to be welded with a laser beam which is outputted from a laser oscillator, wherein the laser beam precedes or follows an arc, and both of an angle formed between the laser beam and the vertical line and an angle formed between a welding torch and the vertical line are forward angles or backward angles and a laser oscillator is a fiber laser. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
