PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a liquid crystal display device in a display state in which it can be inspected while preventing damage of terminals by eliminating mechanical contact of the terminals of the liquid crystal display device and an inspection probe. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device electrically connects the inspection probes 20 and 21 by capacity coupling through a dielectric 15 to a plurality of the electrode terminals 10 of a liquid crystal panel 2, and to a plurality of the voltage terminals 11 to supply alternating current inspection signals. Consequently, the liquid crystal display device can prevent occurrence of damage and dust of terminals and damage or the like due to contact of the mechanical terminals, and can improve reliability of products by maintaining quality in a manufacturing process of the liquid crystal panel.
