PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand drier capable of reducing noise to be emitted from a nozzle opening part or a suction port to the outside by reducing the operation sound of an air flow generator and ventilation sound generated when an air flow passes through an air path which are offensive to the ear among the noise generated by the hand drier. SOLUTION: A plurality of sound shielding plates 12 are installed in one or both of a blow-off air path 5 and a suction air path 9. Thus, the operation sound generated from the air flow generator 2 is shielded while being propagated inside the blow-off air path 5 and the suction air path 9 toward the nozzle opening part 4 and the suction port 8 and the effect of suppressing emission to the outside is provided.
