OPTICAL DISC AND METHOD OF IDENTIFYING RECORDING LAYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disc wherein recording layers can be identified without recording special information in each recording layer and to provide a method of identifying the recording layers.

SOLUTION: The optical disc has a first recording layer and a second recording layer which enable recording and/or reproduction and have an opposite track spiral directions. Physical addresses and recorded addresses are increased or decreased while moving outside from center of a recording layer on the first recording layer.
