The mask has a body made of rigid material, and a bulged portion that serves for attachment to a patient`s face. A forehead support positions the mask in a head region of the patient. The forehead support is connected with the body by a fastener, where air flowing out from a hose-like exhalation unit does not flow back through a pipe fitting of the mask. A blower operates in a direction of an expiration flow.
