<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent leaked toner from flowing to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: Since a box-like toner receptacle member 70 opened upward is provided at a perpendicular downward position of a lower limit A of a slide contact surface between a side seal member 63 and a developing roller 40, the leaked toner is surely caught and accumulated.
