PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set and read out a group of control variables in an image signal processing device, in which the group of controlling variables relative to one another and stored in a register, is validated in synchronization with the switching of images, when the group of control variables is set by a host. SOLUTION: The host separately performs an operation of setting the group of control variables in a register block 20 and an operation of making it reflected on a DSP block 22. The host sets an H level in a VLAT register 30, after setting the group of controlling variables. The control section 24, in response to this, updates the output of a latch circuit 36.
