PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small animal-repelling agent capable of obtaining a high repelling effect, and capable of keeping it for a long time and further a low toxicity. SOLUTION: This small animal-repelling agent contains a compound expressed by the formula [wherein, X is a halogen atom; and (n) is 1-4 integer]. Also, in the case of having a plurality of substituting groups X, it is preferable that at least one of in the plurality of the substituents is Cl, and also the plurality of the substituents X are preferably a same halogen atom.
