<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-tetragonality and high-crystallinity oxide powder in obtaining particularly a perovskite-structure oxide powder of a small diameter. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for producing a molding comprising the steps of preparing at least two main starting powders necessary to produce a perovskite-structure oxide powder, mixing these two main starting oxide powders, forming a molding by molding the mixed powder under pressure, calcining the molding, and disintegrating and grinding the perovskite- structure oxide formed by the calcination, the method is carried out so that the molding after the molding under pressure in the step of forming the molding may have a density of 2.6 g/cm<SP>3</SP>or smaller, and the specific surface area of the perovskite-structure oxide powder obtained by the step of disintegration and grinding may be 5.0 m<SP>2</SP>/g or larger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
