<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk apparatus in which sufficient cooling can be performed even in an extremely thin optical disk apparatus, a deterioration of a recording and reproducing property can be reduced, and it can be prevented that a case cover is deformed inside due to that the vicinity of the center of the optical disk becomes negative pressure. <P>SOLUTION: A spindle motor 5 is constituted of a center hub 11, a turntable 12, a core 13, and a substrate 14, the center hub 11 is engaged to a projection part 12a of the turntable 12, further the turntable 12 is engaged to a shaft 14a of the substrate 14. the center hub 11 is provided with an air stream path hole 15, the turntable 12 also is provided with an air stream path hole 17. Air stream is taken from a lower side of the spindle motor 5 to an upper side according to rotation of the optical disk by the air stream path holes 15, 17, the air stream moving from an inner peripheral side to an outer peripheral side on the surface of the optical disk is circulated passing through the vicinity of a carriage provided with a light source being easy to generate heat. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
