PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil passage arrangement structure of an internal combustion engine capable of shortening an oil route to the journal part of a crankshaft and reducing loss in the oil passage arrangement structure of the internal combustion having an oil pump supplying an oil to lubrication portions, an oil filter purifying the supplied oil, a crankshaft disposed in the lateral direction of the internal combustion engine and supplying the oil to journal parts, and a main gallery forming a main oil passage for supplying the oil to the journal parts of the crankshaft. SOLUTION: As viewed from the side of the internal combustion engine, the oil filter, the main gallery, and the crankshaft are disposed approximately straight forward in the direction of a cylinder.
