PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate defects of a steering handlebar switch device that respective switches and a corresponding instrument (load) are directly connected by a circuit, a number of harnesses is in proportion to a number of the switches, sometimes the number is 10 to 20 when the number is large, as a result, a bundle of the harnesses becomes thick, designing performance of a motorcycle is lowered, and it is obstructive to operation of a handlebar, failure is easily caused, and it is difficult to perform maintenance. SOLUTION: Two or more of the handlebar switches and a voltage control means are arranged on a handlebar grip of the steering handlebar, an electronic control means is arranged on the vehicle body other than the steering handlebar, output voltage is specified by operation of the handlebar switch by the voltage control means, the specified output voltage is detected by the electronic control means, and the corresponding instrument in the vehicle is turned on and/or off by the operation. Thereby, two or more of the handlebar switches and the electronic control means can be connected only by the two harnesses. The bundle of the harnesses becomes thin, the weight can be reduced, and the designing performance of the motorcycle cannot be lowered. Operation of the handlebar is not also obstructed. The failure is prevented from being caused, and the maintenance can be facilitated. When the bundle of the harnesses passes through a handlebar pipe, a hole diameter thereof can be reduced, and strength of the handlebar pipe can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
