<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for automatic operation control of a roll coater which can accurately perform coating with a target film thickness by automatic control. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic operation control device has an automatic operation control means 19 which stores operation control data corresponding to each of various coating materials, has input of a used coating material, dilution conditions, a sheet material carrying speed, a target film thickness and roll diameters, determines a roll circumferential speed ratio control value corresponding to the sheet material carrying speed from the operation control data corresponding to the used coating material, determines a nip pressure control value corresponding to the target film thickness based on the roll diameter from the operation control data, outputs the roll circumferential speed ratio control value to rotational driving means 17a-17c, and outputs the nip pressure control value to nip pressure adjustment means 12a-12c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
