PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror driving device for a camera capable of accurately positioning a reflection part for guiding subject luminous flux to a range-finding part. SOLUTION: The mirror driving device 30 incorporated in a single lens reflex camera has a main mirror and a sub mirror arranged inside a mirror frame 31. The main mirror is supported rotatably to an observation position and a retreat position by a turning shaft part inside the mirror frame, and the sub mirror is supported rotatably to a range-finding position and a retreat position by a shaft part 31j orthogonal to the above-mentioned turning shaft part in a state where it is attached to a lever 55. When the sub mirror is in the range-finding position, the lever 55 is pressed to the mirror frame 31 side by a leaf spring 41. In such a pressing state, the mirror frame side of the lever 55 abuts on the mirror frame, and is held in an accurate attitude to the mirror frame. Consequently, the subject light reflected by the reflection surface of the sub mirror is regularly reflected on a side where an AF sensor is positioned. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
