System for mounting a headlight on a motor vehicle comprising a rigid housing closed by a protective glass, the said system comprising: a first connecting element fixed to the headlight, a second connecting element fixed to the motor vehicle, the first and second connecting elements and being assembled so as to slide one in the other. The first and second connecting elements and are curved and mounted at least partially about a centre of rotation of the headlights providing a rotary movement of the headlight.
