PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent frame materials 11, 12 after assembling from shifting to each other unexpectedly without increasing size of a joint and volume of assembly work in a fixing structure of a top plate frame in which both adjoining end parts of the frame materials 11, 12 for structuring the two top frame are connected by the joint. SOLUTION: Engaging grooves 27 are formed on back faces of the respective frame materials 11, 12 along their longitudinal direction and the joint 5 is an approximately L-shape plate body provided with a pair of splice plates 51, 52 to be spliced and fixed on back sides of the frame materials 11, 12. The width of the splice plates 51, 52 is set to be narrower than the width of the frame materials 11, 12. A screw insertion hole 50 for screwing a screw in the engaging groove 27, an engaging protrusion 53 closely fittable in the engaging groove 27 are aligned on an coaxial line along the engaging groove 27 on the respective splice plates 51, 52.
