PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device of an engine without causing a cold starting error. SOLUTION: This fuel supply device of the engine returns a part of fuel supplied to a fuel storage chamber 4 to a fuel tank 1 from an overflow passage 5. When advancing the fuel injection timing in cold starting, a flow control valve 10 is arranged in the middle of a fuel supply passage 13, and this flow control valve 10 is interlocked with and connected to a hydraulic operation part 11, and a hydraulic chamber 12 of this hydraulic operation part 11 is communicated with a lubricating oil supply passage 30. When the temperature of lubricating oil 28 passing through this lubricating oil supply passage 30 is less than the predetermined preset temperature, pressure of the fuel of the fuel storage chamber 4 of a fuel injection pump 3 is increased by enlarging opening of the flow control valve 10 by using the fact of increasing hydraulic pressure of the lubricating oil 28 in the lubricating oil supply passage 30 more than when this temperature is the predetermined preset temperature or more.
