摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for understanding and examining a shape of an interface between salt water and fresh water and evaluating a state of infiltration of salted underground water, on the basis of results of spatially and temporally high-density in-situ observation of underground water so as to evaluate with high accuracy the actual distribution of the boundary between salt water and fresh water. <P>SOLUTION: Underground water observation is made at prescribed time intervals on a plurality of observation wells, in which screens are installed at different depths. On the basis of the results of observation acquired in the observation wells at prescribed time intervals, the state of the three-dimensional distribution of the salted underground water at underground deep parts is estimated in the method for understanding and examining the shape of an interface between salt water and fresh water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
