<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subscriber's line accommodation apparatus and a packet filtering method for preventing an illegitimate access by a third party using an ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) packet to arrogate an IP address and a MAC address so as to ensure the communication security. <P>SOLUTION: A DHCP processing section 168 in the subscriber's line accommodation apparatus 102 generates a dynamic input management table on the basis of address information obtained when the communication terminal connected to the subscriber's line accommodation apparatus via the subscriber's line requests assignment of an IP address. A dynamic input filter section 163 applies filtering processing, wherein the packets are collated with the IP address or the like depending on types of the packets such as ARP packets, to packets arrived in the subscriber's line accommodation apparatus via an interface circuit section 161 from a user terminal, a static input filter section 164 furthermore applies filtering to the packets and the resulting packets are outputted to an uplink line 130 or the dynamic output filter section 167 via a bridge forwarder 135. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
