PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal device, which can simultaneously and simply install update software transmitted through digital broadcasting. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal device has a software storage memory 41 which stores software; an update buffer 31 to store the update software that has updated the above software, which is included in received digital broadcast signals; and a control means 42 for rewriting software stored in the software storage memory using the update software stored in the update buffer if receiving a power-on signal.
