PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle for a toothbrush which is excellent in chemical resistance against a tooth paste and a dental bleaching agent, which has transparency, impact resistance and heat resistance, and which can be easily molded. SOLUTION: The handle for the toothbrush is made of copolymer polyester resin which contains terephthalic acid as a main dicarboxylic acid component and ethylene glycol as a main diol component and which contains 2-methyl-1, 3 propanediols and 2,2'-(4-bishydroxy phenyl) propane.
