The device has a cylindrical dielectric resonator (1) and one or more lines (2) carrying electromagnetic waves to and/or from the resonator, ending in a contacting structure (4) and forming part of a circuit board structure. The resonator is held by the circuit board at a distance from the contacting structure and in a recess in the circuit board by a suitable attachment arrangement. An independent claim is also included for an oscillator, especially for radar systems, LMDS distribution services or satellite receivers, with a filter element.
