<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display remote control system by which an image can be designated relatively simply. <P>SOLUTION: Image data showing many images are recorded in an electronic album controller 30. The image data are transmitted to a television device 40 from the electronic album controller 30. Thumbnail images in plural frames are arrayed, corresponding to the array of the numeric keypad of a portable telephone 1 and displayed. When the numeric keypad of the portable telephone 1 is depressed, data for identifying the depressed keypad are transmitted to the electronic album controller 30 from the portable telephone 1.
