PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torsion damper device capable of efficiently damping/absorbing torsional vibration without securing a wide space in the circumferential direction and needing high rigidity. SOLUTION: This torsion damper device 31 having a damper plunger 33 spirally movably connected through a ball screw mechanism, and a case main body 32 connected with the damper plunger 33 through springs 38, 39 for forward traveling and a spring 40 for backward traveling composed of compression torsion coil springs, is mounted on a driving shaft 8 of a transmission 1. Torque between the damper plunger 33 and the case main body 32 is transmitted through the springs 38, 39 for forward traveling and the spring 40 for backward traveling. When the torsional vibration is generated, the damper plunger 33 and the case main body 32 are relatively spirally moved, and the rotation and axial load at that time are damped/absorbed by the springs 38, 39 for forward traveling or the spring 40 for backward traveling.
